Member Limits by Plan
Workspace member limits determine how many people can actively belong to a workspace.
What counts as a seat
Active members count against the member limit. Pending invitations can also reserve seats because the invited person may accept and become active.
Billing and Team Settings may show reserved member counts so owners can understand why another invitation is blocked.
When the limit is reached
If the workspace has no available seats, Team Settings will block new invitations.
To free a seat:
- Remove an active member.
- Cancel a pending invitation.
- Review available plan options in Billing Settings.
Current plan guidance
The Church plan includes 2 workspace members: one owner and one editor.
Plan labels and limits should always be confirmed in Billing Settings because billing configuration can change over time.
Why pending invitations matter
An invitation that has not been accepted still represents a possible team member. Cancel invitations that are no longer needed before sending new ones.
