Billing and Subscription Management
Billing belongs to a workspace. The workspace plan controls upload limits, shared AI generation limits, public library features, embedded library features, and team member limits.
Exlectio currently has two customer plans:
- Free: 10 uploads per month, 2 successful AI generations per month, hosted public library, and 1 workspace member.
- Church: unlimited uploads, 100 successful AI generations per month, hosted public library, embeddable sermon archive, and 2 workspace members.
Open Billing Settings
- Open More.
- Choose Billing Settings.
Billing Settings shows the current plan, subscription status, upload usage, AI generation usage, trial or billing period dates, plan access, and available plans.
Manage payment methods and invoices
Use Manage Billing to open Stripe's secure Billing Portal. The portal is used to update payment methods, review invoices, cancel billing, or resume billing when Stripe supports that action.
If no Stripe customer exists yet, choose a plan first to create checkout and enable the Billing Portal.
Payment problems
If a payment fails, Billing Settings may show a warning. During the payment grace period, paid features may remain available until the grace end date.
If the subscription lapses, content, slugs, and public URLs are preserved, but paid features and public visibility may be paused until billing is restored.
Canceled subscriptions
If the workspace is scheduled to cancel at period end, plan changes are paused. Use Manage Billing to resume billing or reactivate before changing plans.
Who can manage billing
Billing management is permission-controlled. Workspace owners can manage billing; editors cannot.
